Randall Blair — Consultant

Randall Blair is a filmmaker and an Associate Professor of film and video in the School of Communication at American University (Washington, DC).Ê He is also the Program Director of the graduate program Producing Film and Video. Prior to 1993, Mr. Blair had successful careers as a professional photographer, television programmer and the owner/manager of a group of commercial radio stations.Ê Since 1993, he has created an impressive body of work as a filmmaker including award-winning documentaries, short dramatic films and educational/corporate videos.Ê His films have been screened in film festivals and film markets including Berlin, Sundance, San Francisco, Aspen, New York Underground, Long Island, Palm Beach, Independent Feature Film, Wine Country and Angelciti.Ê Mr. Blair s awards include two CINE Golden Eagles, four Tellys, an ITVA Bronze Reel, two Silver International Cindys, four Silver Medals from Worldfest Houston, and the Washington Peer Awards for Best Director and Best Scriptwriter of a narrative film less than 30 minutes.Ê He has been a strong supporter of Toxic and A3 from the very beginning.

Russell Williams, II — Consultant

This seasoned veteran of the motion picture world has spent more than twenty-five years plying his trade on all but two continents and in all but four of the fifty United States.  His career has spanned “live” network television, including the Watergate Hearings, radio production, theatre, multi-track recording, film documentary and feature-film sound recording.  His quest for perfection has garnered him two Academy Awards and two Prime-Time Emmys.  A native of Washington DC, Mr. Williams received an Inter-disciplinary Bachelor’s Degree in Film production, Art History and Literature from the American University in 1974.  His advice and guidance were invaluable to us.

David Wilcox — Script Consultant

A friend of Amy's for many years, David graciously read version after version of Toxic and offered invaluable advice and suggestions on how to improve the story. He also taught us a thing or two about writing in general, namely that good writing is rewriting.
